VALEDICTORY FUNCTION OF DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The police Department under government of Tamilnadu and the NSS of Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science conducted elocution competition, on 12/8/2024 in the topic of "Impact and ill effects of drugs on teens. Aishwarya M from the Department of Psychology participated and won the third place. On 15/08/2024, she was accompanied by Ms.Vivega.C Assistant Professor and received the trophy from Tr. Abhin Dinesh Modak, IPS, and the Commissioner of Police (Tambaram) at Paduvanchery Armed Reserve ground. The event began with the Thamizh Thaai Vaazhthu, followed by the AR (Armed Reserve) officers’ parade. Then, the chief guest hoisted the national flag. The special guest Mrs C. Mageshwari, IPS, led us into an oath and the chief guest honoured the winners and runners with the trophies. The event came to an end with the national anthem.
