About AMCAS

Asan Memorial College of Arts & Science is one of the premier self-financing, co-educational institutions in Chennai. It was established in 1994 and is governed by the Asan Memorial Association. The College was formally inaugurated by his Excellency Shri. K. R. Narayanan, then Honourable Vice President of India in the presence of his Excellency Mr. Vakkom Purushothaman, then Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar. From its humble beginnings in 1994, with just 4 undergraduate courses and 6 faculty members, the college has now grown to offer 10 Under Graduate courses…
