About the Department
The department of Computer Applications was started in the year 2010 with a 3 Years Degree Programme in Bachelor of Computer Applications, affiliated to Madras University with the strenght of 25 students .The annual sanctioned intake was increased to 55 in the academic year 2016.The department is equipped with fully qualified and experienced faculty members. It has state-of-the-art laboratories, Internet and other required modern facilities. The lab has 62 Systems with 2 servers and Wi-Fi Facility on the entire Campus for the students and faculty members. The department aims at producing students with good academic record and sufficient soft skills to enhance their employability. Over the years, the department has produced highly qualified and efficient computer professionals.
