Academic Outcomes

Academic outcome is to understand the basic chemical principle that forms the foundation of biological system. It is an interdepartmental major between biology and chemistry that enhances the importance of the everlasting base of natural science. Biochemist gains knowledge on the structure and function of biological molecules in living organism. It deals with the metabolism and regulatory mechanisms, chemical reactions of human life. It portraits in detail on the phenotype, genotype at molecular level. It helps to understand various metabolic and clinical disorders, diagnosis and treatments. The course explains about the bioinstruments used in entire life science institutes ranging from Clinical laboratories, Quality control, Pharmaceuticals and Research.

M.Sc Biochemistry is designed to make a student to focus in-depth about the subject and balance the theoretical and practical knowledge .They are groomed to get exposed to high practical and project activities, through which they gain proficiency in laboratory techniques in both biochemistry and molecular biology and are able to apply the scientific methods to the process of experiments and hypothesis testing. PG students will definitely cultivate deep knowledge in Biochemical Techniques, Immunohistochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Energy Drug Metabolism, Signal Transduction, Biotechnology etc.
