Department of Business Administration organises various activities in a consistent manner to make an eventful year for the students.
- Ch.RadhaMadhavi,HOD,Assistant Profesor has participated in International Webinar on “Combining the Global pandemic through Motivation Using Life Skills”, on July 21,2023.
- Ch.RadhaMadhavi,HOD,Assistant Profesor has participated in “ TWO WEEK NATIONAL LEVEL VIRTUAL WORKSHOP” on “ADVANCED RESEARCH METHODOLOGY” conducted by Department of Commerce,SRM Institute of Science & Technology,Ramapuram Campus,Chennai from 3rd July 2023 to 18th July 2023.
- Ch.RadhaMadhavi, HOD,Assistant Profesor has participated in International Seminar on “Innovation in Personal Financial Management “ on 17.6.2023 organised by the Department of M.B.A.
- Guest Lecture on “Changing Role of HR – 2023” was organised by Department of Business Administration on 4th October 2023 by Mr.Joseph Irudayaraj, IT Expert in Training, Program Mangement, Project Management, Quality Control and Assurance Management. Around 90 students attended the guest lecture.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Department, with AIDEET ACTION India (i-lead)., Chennai on November 25, 2022.
It aims to create extended learning atmosphere for the students, on the topics like Facility Management, Hospitality, Security Management, MS Office, Tally with GST by organising seminars, workshops etc.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Department, with BHUMI, Chennai on December 12,2022.
Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi as a platform, enables over 30,000 volunteers across 12 cities in India for causes like education, environment, animals and community welfare. A Webinar “The Secret of Success” was conducted on16-05-2020 through Webex Online platform for all BBA students. The Resource person Mr.A.G.Krishna Prasad, Senior Senior Lead, Global Immigration, Infosys enriched the students with the success guidelines.

Competitions are designed for winners and the sole purpose of winning. But we at Asanmake the very participation at par with the joy of winning. In contemplation of making the students to cherish the values of friendship and team spirit with fun, every year we conduct a togetherness of distinguished college students through a Mega Inter-collegiate Meet-VaagaiPaasarai of Shift -II. ———- number of colleges participate every year and ——–number of students enthusiastically join in the various events, conducted by all the departments of Shift-II. Events like Business Games, Logo Hunting, Share Markets, Face Painting, Connexions, Cross-Word Puzzles, Word Scrambles, Spell Bee, Verbs Smash, Poetry Writing in Tamil, Identifying the Pictures, ThamizhArivom, Speech in Hindi, Quiz in Hindi, Dumb Charades,Pictionnaire, Rappelez and many more have been conducted since 2017. Both the individual and team events are included. The prizes for the winners and the runner-ups are given for all the eventsand the Over-all Championship is awarded for the winning college team.
Asan Vista
“Awareness is like the sun. When it shines on things, they are transformed”. Social awareness changes the minds of the students and the way they observe the world around them. In the pursuance of exposing the students to the social issues around them an Expo, named ASAN VISTA has been initiated by SHIFT-II. In this platform, the students exhibit their models of the social issues, display their talents by enacting Mime and singing Ghana songs. The video presentations of the social themes are also prepared and displayed to the students of college and school. ASAN VISTA cultivates amore positive perspective among the students towards the society and help them take a positive step towards a prosperous tomorrow
Planning Forum
As in the words of Benjamin Franklin “Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me, I’ll remember. Involve me, I’ll learn”, the students are encouraged to participate in different activities put forth through a platform of Shift-II, titled Planning Forum, which exhibit their talents in various competitions, conducted by all the departments. It is an inter-departmental meet. The competitions like Quantitative Aptitude, Debate, Just A Minute, Extempore, Pinpoint, Essay-Writing, Short-story Writing, Quiz, Business Games, etc. are conducted every year for the students of all the departments. The individual events as well as team events are conducted and prizes awarded accordingly.

Every year workshops are organised in order to intensify the skill of information gathering, with the aid of eminent personalities in the field of Business and Management.
Guest Lectures
Guest Lectures from acclaimed personalities of leading companies promote the thought process of students and help them through their enterpreneurship dreams.
Industrial Visit
Going by the saying”A picture speaks a thousand words”, and industrial visit helps a student better visualise the hardships and challenges faced at the ground, that a thousand case studies may find hard to demonstrate. The students are taken to different industries like ports, harbours and other industrial premises to garner this visualisation.
