Dr.B.Shaji, Associate Professor in Computer Science has 19 years of teaching experience. He has been in ASAN since 2006. He obtained his doctorate degree in Computer Science from VELS Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS).
His research areas include Image Processing and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). He has published research papers in International and National Journals. He has also presented research papers in National & International conferences. “Intelligent Device for Crime Scene Investigation” a UK design Patent is registered under his name.
His subject interest includes Operating System, Microprocessor, Software Engineering, Computer Architecture and Computer Application in Business.
He is In charge of Placement cell where students are placed in leading IT and ITES organisations. He also holds Coordinator role of Enactus Club where interested students are given an opportunity to develop their Entrepreneurship skills by participating in competitions and organising stalls during Onam and Pongal celebrations.
