Department of Business Administration organises various activities in a consistent manner to make an eventful year for the students.
On 9th February Mrs.Ch.Radha Madhavi participated in one day Hybrid Mode National Level Research Workshop on ‘Contents of Project Report and Thesis’ organised by Research Center in Commerce and Management.
Ch. Radha Madhavi HOD BBA has authored a text book titled ‘Consumer Behaviour’ as per Madras University Syllabus, which was published by Thakur Publications. ISBN No.978-93-6180-502-8
Ch.Radha Madhavi has participated in Multidisciplinary International conference on ‘Sustainable Development Goals on 22nd August 2025 organised by Shikshan Maharashi Dadasaheb Limaye Arts, Commerce and Science College, Kalamboli, Maharashtra.
On August 2025 Mrs.Ch.Radha Madhavi has actively participated in the International Seminar on “ Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond” organised by International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT), USA & India.

On 21st January 2026, Roshini V of II BBA won second prize in the English oratorical competition conducted by English Literary Club.

On 5th February 2026, the third year BBA students visited Logistics Sector Skill Council in Teynampet, Chennai -600018 and gained knowledge on logistics, job opportunities in Logistics and provided real practical experience through simulators for the students.
On 12th February 2026, Niranjan A, Yuvaraj D and Sandhya T of II BBA participated and secured Runner up Prize in ‘STEP UP’ in SASOM MELANGE’ 26 organised by School of Management, SACAS.

On 24th August 2025 Mr.Kishore S.R of I BBA secured First place in the 3rd Open Silambam Championship Competition held at Sports Complex, Kottur Corporation Playground Adyar, Chennai.
The department organizes ENTHUZAA the Mega Intercollegiate Meet, on a grand note with the students from various colleges participating in sizzling sequence of events like Intel-Spark (Quiz), Whoz the Hero (Best Manager),Tele Mocking (Tele Marketing),Biz Motif (Logo Designing),Ad-Tunes (Jingle Singing), Crizz Crozz (Crossword) and Ad mad (Ad zap).
EVS EXPO – 2023
The Department of Business Administration of Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science, organised the 11th Edition of Syllabus Based Environmental Studies Exhibition ‘EVS EXPO – 2023’, on 26th September 2023 to create awareness on environment protection and conservation.Using eco friendly materials, Models and Charts on various environment related issues such as pollution, deforestation, Global warming, Food adulteration, Waste Management, Biodiversity, and Eco system were displayed to create awareness among students.Dr. T.S. Santhi , Principal, inaugurated the Expo. Mrs. N. Vanaja, HOD, Mrs. A.D. Kavitha, Faculty Coordinator, Ms. A. Ajitha Christy, Student Coordinator organized the event.
In view of this EVS related competitions were conducted to all the II year students of Shift I & II on 14th September. Around 32 students participated in ECO-Quiz and around 52 students participated in ECO-Word Search.Prizes were distributed during the exhibition.
EVS EXPO
Environmental Studies Exhibition EVS EXPO is organized every year to create awareness on environment protection and conservation. Videos, Photos, Models, and Charts on various environment-related issues such as pollution, deforestation, Population explosion, Food adulteration, Water conservation, Biodiversity, and Ecosystem are created by the students and displayed to create awareness among students. Prizes are awarded to the winners of various environment-related competitions like Eco Quiz, Eco Word search and Eco Photography.
The department organises annual one-day workshop on various themes and topics for the benefit of the academic community. Eminent academics from institutions of merit are invited as resource persons. Participants from Arts and Science colleges are invited to be part of the workshop. They offer a site to explore newer avenues of research.

- On 25th October 2024, Chimaya Academy for Civil Services shared an interview of two I.A.S. officers Mr.Santhanam, I.A.S.(Retired) and Mr.Amith, I.A.S. In the interview they shared their views on postings and opportunities available in I.A.S. and how to be prepared. They also shared their ideas on how to prepare for UPSC CSE exams.
- On 26thOctober 2024, Chimaya Academy for Civil Services organized an Online Guest Lecture on “Situation in West Asia and its Impact on India”. Air Marshal Dr.M,Matheswaran, AVSM, VM, Former Deputy Chief of Integrated Defense Staff was the Guest Speaker. The students of competitive examination coaching club of Asan Memorial college of Arts and Science participated in this webinar.
- On 25th January 2025, the Competitive Examination Coaching Club of Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science in association with VERANDA TRACE Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. organized an “Orientation session on Competitive Exams” for the final year students.The representatives of the institute addressed the students and gave them awareness of the upcoming Competitive Exams, Tips for succeeding exams, benefits of government jobs and coaching and learning process in detail.
- On 1st March 2025, the Competitive Examination Coaching Club of Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science in association with ARAM IAS Academy organized an interactive session on “Competitive Examination – Navigating the path to success”. Mr.MdYasarArafath I.R.S., Deputy Director, Ministry of Finance was the Chief Guest. He addressed the final year and second year students on civil services examinations, he motivated and gave guidelines on how to approach competitive examinations that will lead to securing a government job.
- The Department regularly organises guest lectures for the benefit of the students. Eminent faculty from reputed institutions are invited as resource persons. The lectures are meant to add to the corpus of knowledge pertaining to the syllabus of study.

A maiden attempt of publishing an event inventory (newsletter) of the department of business administration “BBA SPEAKS…” was initiated by students and released by Principal. It is a bi -annual newsletter documenting the semester wise activities of BBA.
