Dr. V. Charulatha is Associate Professor and Head, Department of Commerce (Corporate secretaryship) at Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science. She holds a Ph.D. in the Commerce from the University of Madras. Her educational background reflects her commitment to scholarly pursuits and equips her with in-depth knowledge in her area of specialization.
Dr. Charulatha encourages critical thinking, fosters a supporting learning environment and actively engages in coordinating extracurricular and co-curricular activities for the students. She actively participates in conferences and workshops and has published textbooks, solved series and edited book volumes. She also contributes to the institution by serving on various committees, boards and decision-making processes. She mentors, guides and helps students to explore their academic interests. Dr. Charulatha takes on leadership roles within the college serving as the coordinator for different programs, commissions, clubs and other mega cultural programs. Her work has influenced the lives of many students by shaping their careers as aspiring professionals.
